Pass along to your San Diego-area friends who may wish to enroll.  Let me know if anyone you know takes the class!  It's an excellent workshop for students of all ages looking to get more involved with producing and posting news and entertainment video on digital, broadcast and social media sites such as CNN iReports and FOX News uReports.
BACKPACK JOURNALISM Workshop:

TV and Internet digital video news organizations are always looking for stories and features that are produced and generated by the general public. In this eight-week workshop, students will learn just how to do that. Topics include how to choose topical news and entertainment stories, write the story, and how to effectively and professionally complete the process of video production, post-production, uploading, and distribution of digital news videos.
