Quiksilver Partners with Emerald City to Create Coronado Boardshorts
Coronado's Emerald City was chosen to be part of Quiksilver's "Union Boardshort Collection" and created a limited edition boardshort made of Coronado photos shot by locals.
Under the moniker “Union Boardshort Collection” Quiksilver worked directly with seven key accounts—one from each region of the U.S.—to create a capsule line of collaborative boardshorts that highlight each of the store’s unique regions and heritage.
We spoke to Marco Perez (Manager, Emerald City) and he shared, "Quiksilver chose us, as well as a few other shops around the nation. Emerald City has been a solid retailer of Quiksilver since 1988, and is still going strong to this day. Quiksilver is our #1 selling mens apparel brand year after year. We support each other and look forward to the future and the seasons to come as partners. We are very excited about this unique opportunity to showcase Coronado with these boardies". The boardshorts retail for $61.99.
