Coronado High School Principal Mueller awarded the Career Technical Education Administrator of the Year by Association of California School Administrators

CHS Principal Karl Mueller was named Career Technical Education Administrator of the Year by ACSA (Association of California School Administrators). This recognition is for demonstrating exemplary performance in promoting the success of all students, by advocating, nurturing, sustaining and being an avid promoter of ROP & Career Technical Education (CTE). His professional focus is preparing high school students for their transition into post-secondary career education opportunities with supporting ROP/CTE pathway programs that are aligned to our students’ interests.

Karl’s dedication to our students, staff, and program is commendable. He believes that the way to encourage student interest is to offer an increasing selection of diverse classes through ROP/CTE. Under his management our program continues to expand and prosper.

The annual celebration of educators at the Evening of the Stars, “Honoring Our Own” Awards Dinner, will be held at the Sheraton San Diego Resort & Marina on April 26th where Karl will be acknowledged for his achievement.
