This past weekend, 31 students from Linda Kullmann's Advanced Performing Arts class traveled to Fullerton College to compete in the three-day National Musical Theatre Competition.  This was their second year competing.  After earning a third place title last year, Kullmann made the decision to return. The list of their achievements include the following:  4th place Solo, 4th place Costume Design, 3rd place Costume Design, 4th place Duet, 3rd place Set Design, 2nd place Set Design, 3rd place Musical Review, 4th place Ensemble, and two Outstanding Vocalist awards.

There is a lot of talent blossoming at CMS.  The Performing Arts Department will perform on the main stage at CHS on March 22nd as they present Once Upon This Island  in their annual fundraiser.
