CNN Money Ranks Coronado #3 (Best places for the rich and single)

eCoronado.com got a call from CNN Money about two weeks ago regarding a story about the 'best places for the rich and single'. We were happy to share many of the reasons folks (single and married) love Coronado. They used some of our ideas and left others out. They even ended up using a photo that we had taken near the Coronado Yacht Club (see below). We were glad to promote Coronado and help get this amazing city even more exposure!

A peninsula surrounded by white sand and sparkling waves, Coronado is the perfect place for hanging out at the beach. Bond with fellow commuters on the ferry to downtown San Diego. During the day, you'll find active locals at the golf course, tennis court or sailing around Coronado Bay. In the evening, take a date to the Ferry Landing to listen to live music and watch the sun set over downtown San Diego. Comment by Kevin Queen on July 24, 2009 at 4:27pm: Hey Becky, Before our time, during major high tides, Coronado used to be an island for a few hours at a time. I remember my "Bapa" telling me stories back in the day about the Strand being covered over with water from the bay therefore making it an island. So even though it's technically a peninsula, we local's know it's really an island. It's all about the mindset and as far as I'm concerned, I was born and live on "Coronado Island".
