College Admissions Boot Camp June 18-22 in Coronado

College-bound next year? The application process can be confusing, complicated, and time consuming.  With this short summer boot camp, new seniors can get a jump on college applications and reduce the stress and hassle for themselves and their families.
 

Presented by:

Carolyn Muehlenbeck, college admissions consultant at Connecting to College and a former director of Coronado High’s College/Career Center.  Carolyn is a member of the Western Association of College Admissions Counselors and holds both a secondary credential and a College Counseling Certificate from UCLA.  She has special expertise in merit money opportunities, counseling students applying to arts programs and military academies, as well as assisting students with learning differences.  She also provides training to other college counseling professionals.


Mea Ben-Joseph, credentialed secondary school teacher of English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Visual Art.  Mea is a University of California honors graduate with a Masters in education.  She is an experienced high school English teacher who will focus on supporting students in their essay writing.  


Please note:  In addition to time spent in camp, Carolyn, Mea, and the students will work on essays outside of camp hours.
