Thank you to everyone who worked on behalf of last night's Coronado Schools Foundation Connect-A-Thon and to the individuals and businesses who contributed.
Our Coronado students did a spectacular job in the first fully student-produced event. On camera. Behind the cameras. Back stage. In the control booths. And everywhere in between. Their level of skill, coordination and determination was evident in every aspect of the production. The teachers who supervised them deserve the highest praise as well.
Our Coronado principals and teachers were eloquent and enthusiastic in expressing the need for funding for our schools and how your donations improve public education.
Our Coronado community contributed more than $151,000 on behalf of our schools in support of academic programs.
As CSF Board President, I'd like to express the deepest gratitude to everyone, including all the volunteers, business donors and small-but-mighty CSF staff who made this event possible.
Coronado's schools are consistently among the best in the county, public or private. It's your support that makes it happen.
