Coronado Boy Reaches Goal of Winning his Age Group in the Valentine 10K

Village Elementary third grader Anthony Aiello receives his Tiki for winning his age group in the annual Valentine 10K.

Last year local Coronado resident Anthony Aiello took second in his age group at the Coronado Valentine 10K.  This is quite an achievement for a young man, but he was not satisfied, especially since the boy who took first was not from Coronado.

Anthony made a goal right then and there.  In the 2013 Coronado Valentine 10K, he would win and make Coronado proud.  He did just that!  Nine year old Anthony, a third grader at Village Elementary, won his age group in a time of 55:40.

Anthony and his dad Vincent show off their finishers' medal after the 2013 Coronado Valentine 10K.

Way to go Anthony!  Coronado is proud of your achievement.
