Coronado Girl Scout Troop #5548 Donates $250 to San Diego Food Bank

Coronado Girl Scout Troop #5548 visited the San Diego Food Bank last Saturday, June 16, 2012.  Seven fourth grade girls and their moms spent the morning bagging zucchinis for people in need.  This is their second visit to this organization.  The girls had such a positive experience the first time that they declared the food bank as their charity of choice this year.  They donated $250 earned from troop cookie sales to the San Diego Food Bank to help feed the hungry.  Way to go, Troop #5548!

A wonderful story with fantastic photos.  These girl scouts deserve lots of praise for their service.  Thanks for sharing Anita!
