Coronado High student builds home for ospreys

 — Ospreys now have their own special home in Lakeside, thanks to a Coronado teenager.

For his Eagle Scout project, Coronado High sophomore Quinn Cartwright built a platform for the raptors near a newly restored section of the San Diego River in Lakeside.

Quinn, who turned 16 in October, worked on the project for four months after raising more than $300, researching what was needed and designing the platform.
