Three hundred four (304) people have participated in the Coronado Lawn Bowling Club’s Thursday evening Twilight Open Bowling since May 17.
It is not too late to join the fun and learn and experience a whole new sport while meeting the friendliest people in Coronado. There are still 2 more Thursday nights in August for bowling. Coronado residents and their friends and visitors who have never before rolled a bowl can arrive any time between 6:00 PM and sunset, learn to play the game, and will be playing immediately with other beginning bowlers. It is a fun and casual way to test your interest in the sport. No reservations needed and no fees, just show up in flat soled shoes and have a great time. The CLBC will provide the equipment and will host each open bowling evening.
At sunset, everyone will share in appetizers and beverages to further enhance the festivity and demonstrate the real social nature of this game. Come one, come all to the Coronado Bowling Green at the corner of 7th and D Ave. behind the Coronado Senior center for a really fun and free evening.
