Coronado Resident Launches Website for Sexual Assault Victims

On 24 September 2012, I launched my new website called At Long Last Heard (www.atlonglastheard.com).

Exactly one year ago on that date I was sexually assaulted in Coronado.  This site will chronicle my journey the last year and provide a place that other women who have suffered a similar trauma can tell their stories.

The subject matter of this site is not the most pleasant, BUT it is very important, especially to those of us who have been attacked.  I hope that you will go to my website and like the Facebook page.  Help me get the word out there.

Good for you Tamerie.  I hope your efforts help you continue to heal and help others as well.  Sexual assault of adults and children is a somewhat "silent" crime---people don't ever want to talk about it.  We need to talk about it, though, to prevent it!  Best of luck with your site and your efforts.
