Coronado Rotary Club Completes Successful Charity Golf Tournament in Coronado

The Coronado Rotary Club sponsored another successful charity golf tournament this March at the beautiful Coronado Golf course. The 16th annual event had over 150 golfers and over $75,000 was raised for worthy charitable causes. The main tournament sponsors were EDCO and Pacific Western Bank. Once again Jim Laslavic, a former Charger and currently the Sports Announcer on NBC, was the celebrity sponsor and Bob Plumb and Mike Privett of the Coronado Rotary Club co-chaired this successful event.

This year’s main beneficiaries included Camp Able, Thousand Smiles, PolioPlus, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and San Pasqual Academy among others. Next year’s event will be held Friday March 13, 2013 so save the date!
