The Coronado Woman’s Club and Sapori Restaurant invite you to attend an elegant luncheon in Coronado featuring an exhibition class with Chefs Raffaele & Laura Petrazzuolo.  The class will start at 11:30am on Saturday, March 10^th at Sapori, located at 120 Orange Avenue.  The cost for the luncheon and a complimentary glass of wine is $40. Vegetarian options will be available.

Chef Raffaele grew up in Naples, Italy where his love of fresh and simple cooking was nurtured while his wife, Chef Laura originally from Great Britain specializes in pastries. Both have worked all over Europe where they met more than 30 years ago.   Before arriving in Coronado, they spent the last 22 years in Australia where they owned and operated restaurants ranging from a tiny Panini bar to 6 unique cafes! After a holiday to Coronado, they decided a new culinary challenge was in order and located to our fair city with their two daughters, Michaela and Nicole.

The menu at Sapori is not set.  It’s written on a huge blackboard and is constantly changing.  Chef Laura likes to visit many of our nearby farmers markets for as much local produce as possible.  She describes their approach to the menu as “fresher and lighter Italian, basically Unfussed”.  Chef Laura makes all the cakes, pastries, biscottis

 and the other wonderful desserts on premise.  All these qualities taken together are the reason why Sapori is Zagat-rated!
