YUM!

La Salsa is now a place I frequent for lunch after starting a job on the same block. Located at the corner of Orange and R.H. Dana Landing, there is an indoor seating area, outdoor patio facing the Del, and several outdoor tables along Orange Ave as well.

The Chile Lime Salad has been one of my go-to lunch items, especially with the unusually hot weather!

A large plate, loaded with avocado, chicken, crunchy tortilla chip pieces, and fresh romaine lettuce, is perfect paired with a cold beverage and 30-mins of relaxing, eating, and enjoying the beautiful Coronado street-scene.

The chile-lime dressing is light. I usually add some salsa from their free salsa bar to customize it. Somedays spicy, somedays more fire-roasted. Although the dressing is light, the portion is not! I am always full after one of these salads as they load it with chicken.

An added bonus is that the staff is always very friendly and the restaurant is always clean despite the large amount of people who eat there.

I love the food at La Salsa, however, since I have really started on a health kick, I haven't been in a while.  Though this salad is, I am sure, delish, it has a whopping 773 calories and 48 grams of fat.  Ouch.  Glad you enjoy the food, Ashley.  Every time we have been there the staff is very efficient and friendly.

Where are the 46 grams of fat coming from? The dressing or the tortilla chips/avocado?
