Dream Big: READ! Summer Reading Program Starts Today June 11, 2012

The summer reading program in the Children's Library starts today!  The theme this summer is "Dream Big: READ!" Children through fifth grade are eligible to participate and receive prizes based on the number of books read.  The "Dream Report Station" will be in the children's library and is usually populated with junior volunteers.  Here children can report the books they have read.  The volunteer will record the books and the list will be kept in the library, filed by name.

Visit the Dream Report Station Monday through Thursday from 1-4pm or Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.  Be there today to sign up!

Children who have finished fifth grade can get involved by joining the Junior Volunteers.  Pick up an application at the Reference Desk in the Children's library.  There is also a Summer Reading Kick-off party for Teens Wednesday June 13 at 2 p.m. in the Winn Room.
