I was excited to see that the January 2011 issue of Woman's Day Magazine includes a round-up of 7 great spots around San Diego to enjoy with kids in tow. Coronado makes the list, starting with a ferry ride, a stop at Hotel Del Coronado, and of course kids will not want to miss MooTime for a yummy treat! Also on the list, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park - the reader says, "Finding a museum that appeals to a 4-year-old and two preteens isn’t easy. But the Fleet has cool stuff for each of them, like Earth Exposed!, which enables kids to touch a simulated tornado. We always bring a picnic and have lunch in the park afterward.” Also included: Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala, Torrey Pines Gliderpoint, La Jolla Shores, Old Town Mexican Cafe and of course the San Diego Zoo!
