CALLING ALL CIVIC GROUPS, COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AND CITY DEPARTMENTS...

For the first time ever the Coronado Unified School District, Coronado SAFE, and the Navy Region Southwest are collaborating to provide a single event to welcome the many new families we will have join our community.  Each year the City of Coronado welcomes hundreds of new children and family members.  Coronado SAFE invites you and other community partners to help make the transition a positive experience.  Let's welcome our new families home!

Put Tuesday, August 21, 2012, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on your calendar.  The Back to School New Family Welcome will be held at Coronado Middle School in Granzer Hall and on the field. 

Represent your organization with a table to solicit membership, request assistance, or provide awareness of your resource to our newest citizens.  Each group that participates in this unique event will help these families recognize the extraordinary level of support our civic clubs, community organizations and city departments have to offer.
