Found on the Coronado Bridge - Come meet Freeway, Available for Adoption

Freeway is a Long-haired Chihuahua.   He weighs just over 3 pounds and is about one and a half years old.  He was found on the Coronado Bridge during the rush hour traffic.  He is getting acclimated to his new surroundings, but is still a bit shy and reserved.  Freeway is a gentle soul that loves to be held.  His eyes look into yours as if to say "I have had rough time of it".    Freeway needs a quieter home preferably without younger children.  Come take a look at this little man and give him the chance that he needs for a new beginning.

You can meet other dogs and cats available for adoption at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) on 1395 First Street.  Hours of operation are 9am - 4pm, every day but major holidays.  To see and read about other animals needing homes, please view our websites: pawsofcoronado.org and petfinder.com.   All our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on their immunizations prior to their adoption.  PAWS of Coronado would like to announce our new program, Feline Baby Boomers /Senior to Senior Adoption Program.  Cats 10+ years adopted to parents 55+ years get a reduced fee of $35 for the first cat, $15 for the second.  It's kitten season, so come on down and meet the gang. They are more than willing to entertain you with their antics. Bring your cat carrier, you are going to want to take one or two home.

I think you should give him to the girl whose dog "Hercules" was mauled to death at the dog beach! He is very similar to the dog she lost!
