Mom still questions Coronado mansion deaths

A year after a 6-year-old boy died from a fall at the historic Spreckels mansion in Coronado, the boy’s mother is speaking out about the unanswered questions which plague her mind to this day.

In an interview with Phoenix Magazine, due out Thursday, Dina Shacknai said it’s been hard to stay quiet about the death of Max, who fell while in the care of his father’s girlfriend, Rebecca Zahau. Authorities said Zahau was so distraught about the fall that she committed suicide days later.

“My first wish is to have him back. My second wish is to have Rebecca Zahau back... to ask her what happened,” she told the magazine, according to media reports. “It’s still my job to find out what really happened to him, isn’t it?”

I believe as many do, the WHOLE case was flawed. Including Rebecca's supposed suicide.Many unanswered questions.. I wish both of them could come back and tell us what TRULY happened.
