I was just wondering because I haven't seen you around for a while... We have had some beautiful weather lately and I just knew it would bring you out of hiding, but nooo... I miss seeing you all the time, and your temporary masterpieces.
You couldn't have moved away.. you're a legend in this town. You wouldn't have gotten in trouble.. that's just not like you.. :))
so where are you then Mr. Sandman?.
Where ever you are, I hope you are happy and well.

Comment by Kim Moreno on February 14, 2012 at 9:31am Dear Roxy,
Thanks for posting this inquiry! I have shared concerns on other sites about the Sandman's recent disappearance. I am wondering if he is having to serve time at the County Jail for that incident a few months ago when the Coronado Police tried to take his broom away. The Judge threw out all the felonies the police charged him with but I think he pled to a minor misdemeanor.
He is particularly missed on St Valentines Day as he is the creator of the most romantic valentines in town! I contract with him each year to make one for my wife and me.
I hope that he is on vacation and OK.

I heard that he moved back to Chula Vista. He used to live there and instead of creating art with sand he would do things with rocks and had shown me some photos of his work there. I did not hear it from the Sandman himself but I was told he returned to Chula Vista.
