Soccer can take on all different shapes and forms. From January to March, CYSL players have spent their Saturdays playing and learning indoor soccer at the San Diego Indoor Soccer arena in North Park. Indoor soccer is a derivative of traditional outdoor soccer, but major differences include the fact that there are fewer players, it is played on an enclosed field, and the ball is allowed to be played off the wall.

CYSL had a mixture of competitive and recreational players participating. For the coaching staff, it was excellent training for Nado’s athletes because the players got more touches on the ball, played against some great competition, and had more chances to score as well as prevent goals. The athletes did an awesome job of working hard for each other out on the field. In the “Goals Scored” stats tallied by the San Diego Indoor Soccer Arena, Nado Select had 30+ different players up on the score board! Nado teams that participated in the season include the GU8 Green, GU8 White, BU8, GU10, GU11/12, and GU14.
