NOISE ALERT: Navy Small Boat and Blank Weapons Fire

Naval Base Coronado, Calif. – The Navy is conducting training exercises involving blank gunfire and small boats operating in San Diego Bay and off the ocean beaches south of Naval Amphibious Base Coronado.

Expect to hear the small arms and .50-cal blank gunfire during the following training exercise dates and times:

Mar. 18-19​10 a.m. – 4 p.m. ​San Diego Bay
Mar. 20-21​10 a.m. – 4 p.m. ​Ocean side
Mar. 25-26​10 a.m. – 4 p.m. ​San Diego Bay
Mar. 27-28​10 a.m. – 4 p.m. ​Ocean side
Apr. 1-2​10 a.m. – 4 p.m. ​San Diego Bay
Apr. 3-4​10 a.m. – 4 p.m. ​Ocean side

The Navy recognizes the importance of being good neighbors with the local communities and makes every effort to abate noise when possible.
