Over 100 Students Dance in Flash Mob at Coronado Ferry Landing

Christopher Yanov, founder of San Diego's Reality Changers, and over 100 students arrived in Coronado this evening via ferry to celebrate the support for higher education for lower income inner city youth.  They performed a "flash mob" dance before enjoying their dinner at Coronado Ferry Landing.

Akshay, thanks for heading down to Ferry Landing to cover this.  We had an eCoronado.com meeting this morning where this 'flash mob' tip came in from a source at Reality Changers.  Great to see this 'fun' moment captured - RC is a meaningful and rewarding organization across the bridge that has a great tradition of kicking off the school year here in Coronado.  Can't wait to see what dance moves they bring us next year.

Love the raw energy of Reality Changers!  What a great organization to change kid's lives and help them win scholarships for college.

Should have seen the looks on the faces of the diners and the kayakers... they went from confusion to enjoyment in about 0.5 seconds!

Hope you liked it!

And PS, if you know any 12th graders who haven't started their college applications yet, check out www.CollegeAppsAcademy.com.  This social enterprise helps 12th graders get into the best colleges possible and 100% of the proceeds go to Reality Changers.  Sessions start Oct 1.

We have been supporting Reality Changers since the year 2000. It is an awesome program and we are so proud of these kids and their fearless leader/founder Chris Yanov. If you are looking to get involved with a local program that benefits local San diego kids and uses their funds very wisely. Check them out!
