PAWS of Coronado Most Popular Cats of the Week, available for adoption

Spencer a senior cat for adoption

Spencer is an adult black male cat with white whiskers and a whisper of white on his chest.  A “baby boomer” at a youthful 10 years old, he is wise to the ways of cats and humans. Spencer meows a hello to anyone who he encounters and will keep up a dialogue to tell you how he feels, what is going on and how happy he is to see you.  Spencer has a super friendly outgoing personality and is extremely social and not afraid of company. He is not only good with other cats; he is also good with children.

With his effervescent personality, he is super lovable, and is in need of a forever home with a loving, caring family. Spencer is energetic and healthy, in the prime of his life with many, many more years ahead of him to enjoy life and to give his family that special feline loving companionship.  Spencer arrived at the ACF with his feline sister, Tracey and if at all possible, they would like to be adopted together :-)  Come meet Spencer to see if he is the purrfect fit for your family!

Tracey a cat for adoption

Considered a “baby boomer” at 10 years young, Tracey is a svelte black DSH female cat, who is sweet and gentle and is hoping to find a forever home with a caring family.  Tracey was shy when she first arrived at the ACF with her brother Spencer, but has gained confidence and lets her true personality shine through. She is now all purrs and affection when she greets her human admirers. She likes to be held and places her paws on either side of your neck as she nestles her head on your shoulder.  Tracey gets along well with other cats and is looking for someone who will take good care of her and give her lots of love, which she will gladly return.

Tracey would like to be adopted along with her brother Spencer if at all possible.

If you are seeking a loyal and loving feline companion, please come by our Animal Care Facility today to meet Tracey. She will win your heart with her loving and attentive demeanor. Won’t you come by to meet her?

Oswald a male cat for adoption

Oswald is 2 year old male cat, white with multi-colored Tabby markings. He’s a beautiful boy with golden eyes and a mocha-dipped smile. You will love the touch of his bunny soft fur.  Oswald has a complex personality probably because he is so smart. He knows what he likes and dislikes and is sure of himself, but is submissive with other cats. Oswald does like a feline companion and seems to do best with female cats. Young children may be too loud for his temperament.  Oswald is a teen and still loves to play. He is very attentive and doesn’t miss a thing. He does enjoy pets – particularly a good head rub, but is not super cuddly.

You can meet other dogs and cats available for adoption at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) on 1395 First Street.  Hours of operation are 9am - 4pm, every day but major holidays.  To see and read about other animals needing homes, please view our websites: pawsofcoronado.org and petfinder.com.   All our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on their immunizations prior to their adoption.  PAWS of Coronado would like to announce our new program, Feline Baby Boomers /Senior to Senior Adoption Program.  Cats 10+ years adopted to parents 55+ years get a reduced fee of $35 for the first cat, $15 for the second.  It's kitten season, so come on down and meet the gang.
