I woke up this morning to the unusual sight of a perfectly empty ocean and beach at daybreak. This is the first time I can ever remember not seeing any ships, boats, surfers, walkers or runners from my 14th floor vantage point in the Shores. It was pretty nice but a little strange. I can now report, as I write this at 7am, things are back to normal on the beach. I am going to get out and join the walkers and get ready to watch Oklahoma against Florida State this afternoon.
