Please try to encourage him to use the walkway vs the street.

It isn't the canvas he prefers, but maybe a happy medium can be reached and maybe the city can find a way

to let him work on the street on occasion.

The city has the power to change the ordinance and maybe if he makes an effort the city can find a way to support his work beyond the walkway.
