Story from NBC:

A transformer that sparked into flames is the cause of a power outage affecting at least 437 homes and businesses in Coronado.

The transformer fire began at 4:23 a.m. in the alley between Orange Avenue and D Street and spread to a nearby telephone pole, a Heartland Fire dispatcher said.

City of Coronado says that power will be back on between 10am and 2pm today.
