It hardly feels like 4 years already. My first term representing the people of Coronado has been a phenomenal experience! The people I work with, the vision and leadership that I see and the dedication to service above self is inspirational. I am excited about the campaign and look forward to your input and support.

Effective governance requires a positive, proactive and practical approach. Four years have taught me that it also requires patience.  I am running for re-election to the school board because I am excited about what we have accomplished at the District over the last four years and want to continue our great progress. We are going in the right direction - but there is more work to do.

Despite our collaborative staff and streamlining operations, the District will continue to face significant financial constraints from the State and increasingly difficult Board decisions.  I am prepared to face these challenges with experience, dedication and passion.  

Three generations of my family have attended Coronado schools and I am proud to be part of the rich tradition of academics, integrity and service that is the Coronado Unified School District.
