Selling a Sara Rowe painting: Can you help?

Hi Neighbors,

I am helping a friend downsize in preparation for moving. She has a Sara Rowe print she would like to sell or donate. It is of the bridge and marked 83/850. It is nicely framed.

Can you advise me on where I might sell it? Or to whom I could donate it?

Staff Comment by Kellee Hearther on January 31, 2013 at 3:46pm: I did a little search and found out that the new “Visions of Coronado” exhibit at the Museum of History & Art is dedicated to the memory of this local artist.

The Museum of History and Art is located at 1100 Orange Avenue, adjacent to the Coronado Visitor Center. The Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily (except Christmas and New Year’s Day). Admission is by donation. For more information, log ontocoronadohistory.org or call 619-435-7242.

The museum might love to have it.

Another thought I had is that CSF, the Coronado Schools Foundation has an auction every fall and I am sure they would love to have a gem like you are describing. All the funds they raise go back into the public schools here in Coronado. If you want to sell it, perhaps posting a picture here on eCoronado.com would generate some interest. Good Luck.
