Starbucks Closing for Remodel (Sept. 18th to Oct. 2nd)
The Coronado Starbucks will be closing at 12pm on Saturday, September 18th for a remodel. It is set to open back up on Saturday, October 2nd. We contacted Starbucks and they shared that the remodel will include a lot more 'sitting area' and that they are very excited for the changes.
Even though they will be closed, there may be some 'free samples' being handed out some mornings and you can always get your coffee fix from these other cafes around town.

Have been with Starbucks (Global Design) for years and have experienced many "Janet Smiths" over the same priod. First of all, if we were not welcome here in Coronado, we would not be located here and doing the business that we are doing.
We are one of very few companies that we extend an offer of our various health, dental, vision, stock options, and other perquistes to even our part-time (20hrs per wk) partners. Along with the benefits offered, generally seaing, we also offer a better wage than you'd find being paid at-and-by comparable businesses throughout the community.
And, if one takes the time get to know the partners at our Coronado and other Starbucks stores, you'll find that we have a wide and diverse mix of people of various ages and origins,from miitary spouses, to retirees, to students, and many more who depend upon us financially. And just one more thing, with our store location in Coronado, we actually have helped other coffee establishments succeed, kind of along the line of having 3-to-4 gas stations at one intersection which results in more business for each station because of motorists knowing that they can "always get gas there."

I agree with 'NadoPJ'!!!! I will miss the Starbucks on island sooooo much!!! Can't wait to see the 'unveling' of the newly remodeled store. To all the Starbucks fans on island, see you there soon!!! :o)

Don't forget the Starbucks "Via" instant coffee packets available at our local grocery stores while awaiting the reopening!
