Stretch's Cafe to Close August 27th - Help Them Get To 6,000 Bacon Burritos

The owners of Stretch's Cafe notified eCoronado.com that they are closing down their restaurant next month on August 27th. We just interviewed the new owners of the space and will be sharing their new restaurant and concept with you very soon the article is now live.

Stretch's has been a wonderful addition to Coronado over the last 30 years and they are asking locals to come by for one last meal and especially, one last "World's Famous Bacon Burrito". In fact, they have a goal of selling 6,000 (in a year) and are only 1,300 500 away from meeting that goal. If we help them sell just 43 a day, they will hit their goal before the doors close for good.

Where else can you get such a great wrap? They have always been supportive of the Islanders and families too. Lindsay, thank you for feeding us -- we will miss you!

I live in Las Vegas, NV now....abit far to travel for a coffee mug...LOL I was the Service Unit Manager for the Coronado Girl Scouts for a few years way back when, God but I have great memories of that. My daughter graduated from Coronado High in 1999.

In 2010 we sold 4971 Bacon Burritos... we thought a goal for 2011 set at 6000 would be reachable... We never thought in a milion years that we would be able to do that in 8 months.. Thank you all so much for all your support!!
