Sand Castle Man, Bill Paviacka, created this Halloween-inspired sand masterpiece in front of the Hotel Del. The project took him eight hours to build. Although a resident of Paradise Hills, Bill spends a lot of his free time in Coronado and loves building amazing castles and other structures on the beach. He competes in several local competitions and recently won the B Street Pier Sand Castle Competition. His work ranges from intricate Dr. Seuss-like castles to seasonal decorations like these pumpkins; the inspiration for all is drawn simply from his stream of conscious. Bill has been building sand castles with his kids for years, and with his background in plastering and landscaping, has taken the hobby to another level in the past three years. Keep an eye out for his grand creations! To see more of his masterpieces check out his website here.
