Love it, drowns out all the humming from retiree pacemakers. I also believe that  morning and evening bugle music (Revile, Taps etc). sound levels should be restored to their normal levels and that military music be declared as the official music of Coronado.

I don't mind jet noise, because it's infrequent, but the constant helicopters, ignoring flight rules and flying low over the apartment buildings on first street annoy me.  Please go back to flying where you're supposed to fly, which is over the middle of the harbor, and over the bridge.  I appreciate your service, but don't cut corners.

Would somebody please explain the role of "Guard" helicopter flight operations to this individual, that they fly where they are supposed to. This town is full of aviators, watchful,critical aviators, if something is amiss it would be duly noted and reported

That someone would be you I suppose.  This is the only response I'm going to make.  I happen to know a navy aviator, now retired, who called the commanding officer.  Nothing happened.  He informed me that they are not flying where they're supposed to.  I have been living on first street for 5 years.  They didn't use to cut the corners and fly over the buildings.  This isn't guard duty.  Helicopters fly over the buildings sometimes two at a time about 20 times a day and up to 60.  It has been proven that helicopter noise is bad for your health.  That's why these flight rules exist.
