Traffic stopped, helos in the air and Italian exotic cars racing up 4th to the bridge! Anyone have a story?

Just noticed several helicopters in the air, not a single car traveling on 4th then all of a sudden lots of exotics headed to bridge! Never seen so many Maseratis, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches heading to the bridge.

Comment by Mayor Casey Tanaka on September 8, 2012 at 11:09am: I think there was a fundraiser/event at the Del that involved the sports cars. The helicopter was doing some filming, and I believe it was working independently from the sports cars and their fundraiser event.

C4K "Cruise 4 Kids" Sports & Exotic Car Rally in San Diego invites high-end luxury car owners to participate in a 27 mile "cruise." This rally starts at the Hotel Del Coronado and ends at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. At the Del Mar Fairgrounds, C4K drivers will display their vehicles in a car show style for the public to enjoy. We will also have live entertainment, vendor/sponsor booths, concession stands, driving simulators, beer garden, kids zone, military pride zone, and VIP tent & lounge.
