Yes, you can end it by persuading your city & state leaders to make "quiet zones" a priority (in the budget). The number of late-night trains is increasing across the country. It's time for the booming train industry to evolve and learn to co-exist safely & peacefully in modern-day residential neighborhoods. Our health is at stake. Here are two recent studies explaining the harm caused by late-night train whistles: People with chronic sleep disruption have 4 times higher risk of stroke: http://bit.ly/K9iljK  and…. Every 10 decibels of traffic noise equates to 10 percent greater risk of heart attack. Late-night noise is the most dangerous http://nyti.ms/ODHgDq Check out what Madison, Wisconsin is doing to create residential railroad quiet zones: Follow us on Twitter: http://twitter.com/quietzoneswi Like us on Facebook: http://on.fb.me/LdTrVy
