Mike’s Road Trip travel blog recently featured our Coronado Hotel, the 1906 Lodge.   He gushed with enthusiasm:  “Every so often I stay at a property that sets the bar just a bit higher.  I recently enjoyed such a place on Coronado Island in San Diego, California…the 1906 Lodge…. While it’s early in the year, 1906 Lodge will certainly be in contention for the “Best B&B” award on the annual “Best of Mike’s Road Trip” list.

Mike’s favorite suite at the 1906 Lodge was the Ocean Boulevard Suite.  He thought it was straight out of a Tommy Bahama catalog.  In fact, it is just one of the 17 unique rooms and suites decorated by owner Sue Gillingham.
