Vicente Fox to Speak to Coronado Middle School Students Friday, March 2, 2012

eCoronado.com has just learned that President Vicente Fox (former president of Mexico from 2000-2006) will be speaking to the Coronado Middle School 8th grade students tomorrow (March 3, 2012) at 1:30pm.  This event is not open to the general public.

According to CMS Principal Jay Marquand:

I firmly believe this is a tremendous learning opportunity for our 8th grade students and the connection to civics, government, and leadership particularly when it comes to our 8th grade humanities curriculum.  President Fox is a champion for education and has an initiative to reach young people so they can pursue their dreams.  He also focuses on leadership and service to community.

What a great opportunity for our CMS students.  Click here to learn more about Vicente Fox.

That's awesome.  Can the general public go?
