Superstar Will Ferrell in Coronado for Golf Classic

The Will Powered Golf Classic - Southern California is the premier fundraising event benefiting Cancer for College and is hosted by the Hollywood superstar Will Ferrell.

Now in its 19th year, the event will be held at the historic Coronado Golf Course, on beautiful Coronado Island in San Diego. It is the longest running fundraising event for the Cancer for College scholarship fund which grants college scholarships to cancer survivors, many of whom may not have the resources to attend college due to all the additional hardships that come from fighting the disease. Many cancer survivors often miss so much school or struggle with their schooling due to treatments leaving them ineligible for traditional scholarships. In addition, even families with great insurance can be wiped out financially by the disease.

This year the event will feature a rocking Golf Classic party with outlandish fun and excitement on virtually every hole. It will be followed by a post-round cocktail reception and awards where we will meet a number of the scholarship recipients. The evening will conclude with a very private dinner with Will Ferrell at the Hotel Del Coronado for 60 select VIP guests.
