I'm proud to wave the Coronado because it's a classic beach city with that warm feeling of walking into Cheers and having everyone yell, "NORM!" That is not a feeling that you get just anywhere. The people of Coronado are like no other.....we live in a city of geniunely caring people who are proud to say, "I love my community" I just can't put in to words my exact feeling of this wonderful place we call home, but I am sure all you locals know exactly what I am trying to say.

I"m proud to wave the Coronado flag because I consider myself from the great city of Coronado. I was raised on the East coast, but I was reborn in Coronado. My kids were fortunate enough to spend their formative and school years in the beautiful city, and I shared their experiences every step of the way.
Coronado life is a utopia, and if not taken for granted, but rather if embraced and respected - the resulting outlook on life is one of thankfulness and gratitude. I am and we (my family are) always proud to be from Coronado.

The Coronado Firefighters are lucky--the City gives us two of these beautiful flags which we fly proudly in front of both of our stations! Good luck to all of the respondents!

I was actually born there in 1949. Then I spent my first couple of tot years hanging at my grandmother's house & La Avenida, where she was the hostess. When I was around a year old, I woke up from a nap, and decided I wanted to go to the beach -- Mimi lived in the 900 block of G Ave -- so I ripped off my diaper, and the next door neighbor found me streaking down the middle of the road to the beach. I had a wonderful sandbox in the backyard, but I wanted the beach. I was traumatized when I was taken from Coronado and my grandmother to live in Oakland when my dad was xfrd. It's a wonderful place...Coronado, my home town.

We have been visiting Coronado since 1988 and have owned a condo there since 2000. Truly the last great coastal city. Our favorite place in the whole world!

I feel truly blessed to be able to live in the city of Coronado. It is a real dream-come-true. What's not to love about it?! It's a beautiful small town and all that comes with that along with being located on one of the top 10 beaches in America. People are friendly, businesses are plentiful, and the weather can't be beat.
