It seemed like the bridge opened about the same time maybe even same month as I graduated from Coronado High. It still seems a little blurry, I graduated on thursday and got married on Sunday(no I wasn't nuts!). Back to the bridge you must have heard about this. They built the bridge from both sides. When they got to the middle it didn't meet up it was off center. Imagine that! I remember seeing the black and white pic in the Coronado Journal. Now how'd that happen? It was disturbing wasn't sure I wanted to go over it when they fixed it. more on the bridge later
