Taking the ferry for the fourth is a great plan! The ferry landing, which is where you get off the Ferry, has tons of restaurants with gorgeous views of downtown San Diego. The parade is in the morning and the schedule for all the events on that day is on our main page. If you want to head down Orange towards the rest of Coronado it is about a one mile walk from the ferry landing to the Hotel Del. But the good thing is that it is a flat walk and there is a ton to look at along Orange. 

Depending on the type of food you want there are a variety of options on the island. Check out the dining section on the main menu tab for more info there. 

My fourth of July will be full of all the activities on the island starting with the race at 7am, then the parade, and then a beach day until the fireworks at night. Enjoy!
