It didn't look like the surf was great that day, so not much you can do about that.  The mark of a good editor is being able to create a nice piece without having the most ideal footage...and you seemed to do that.  I liked how it was more than just surfing.  You had some shots to lead into the action shots. It is good to have a story and your story was of some friends heading out for a day of action in the ocean. You also had many different angles of the surf action.

I am looking to pay young filmmakers to do projects if you are interested.  It is not a lot of dinero, but I like to see young filmmakers in action creating good work.  I like to see good human interest stories--people making a difference in the lives of those around them.  It could be a story about someone in the surf community or whatever you have a passion for.  If you or your fellow filmmakers have an interest in doing that let me know.  I have some ideas as well if you need some.  My son is at the middle school and I have encouraged the filmmakers there to do the same.
